Lighting Evaluation of IARC Computer Lab

In this exercise as a group we were asked to select one space within the Gatewood Studio Arts Building and do the following:
1. Reach a group consensus on a one or two paragraph description of the space. Include what the space is primarily used for, what the lighting is like, whether the space is large or small, intimate or public in scale, and what your over all impression is about the space. Include other info that you believe is useful in describing the space.

Description of Space:
My group chose the computer lab. The computer lab is primarily used for graphic design, design programs, research, and also a a classroom. Students also come into this space for computer help and/or for any of their printing needs. There are places to cut paper and project movies or presentations. The lighting in this space is filled with 23 fluorescent light fixtures. The desks have lamps on them to help brighten the individual work space if necessary. For the amount of people using this space, the space is small and it has a very intimate feel when the space is filled. This space is also public because it is open to the public for anyone to use.
Overall, I enjoy the space. It is easy to work in and not an uncomfortable space. It does get very cramped at times when major projects are due at the end of the semester. This makes the space unpleasant to be in because it gets very noisy with a lot of people and the space suddenly appears to be tiny and cramped. Because it gets cramped with so many people, it also gets very hot with the lights on and the computers running.

We were then asked to individual fill in a Lighting Evaluation Chart. Mine is as follows

We were then asked to as a group compare our answers and develop another evaluation with our group answers this evaluation was as follows:
