In this exercise we were asked to develop at least three different types of color contrast based on the discussions we had in class. I choose to show monochromatic, triadic, and analogous color schemes. I choose an image from the internet that was a simple living room space that was complex enough to create effective color schemes.
MONOCHROMATICI choose a mixture of browns to create a monochromatic color scheme that makes the space seem very relaxing and comfortable.
TRIADIC
The colors used in this space create a more lively, bright space. These are three colors that appear opposite each other on the color wheel. These colors also make the space feel much larger.
ANALOGOUS
To me, this space is almost a mix between relaxing of monochromatic and bright, lively of triadic color schemes. The bright colors promote a lively atmosphere.
